We handle exchanges on a case-by-case basis to make sure you get the right kit and parts for your needs. Please review the guidelines below and contact us to start an exchange.

How to Request an Exchange

  1. Email info@SolventTrapsAmerica.com with your
    order number, reason for exchange, and (if applicable) photos of the item received.
  2. Wait for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and instructions before sending anything back.
  3. Ship the item in secure packaging with all original components and paperwork.

Eligibility

  • Item must be unused, unmodified, and in original condition with all parts (tube, adapters, end cap, protectors, etc.).
  • Custom or special-finish items (e.g., certain hydro-dipped or Cerakote runs) may be non-exchangeable unless defective on arrival.
  • Requests should be made promptly upon delivery. Items showing signs of use, installation, or alteration are not eligible.

Defects, Wrong Item, or Transit Damage

  • Wrong item received: Contact us immediately with photos—we’ll make it right.
  • Transit damage: Keep all packaging and provide photos of the box and item so we can file a carrier claim and arrange a replacement.
  • Manufacturing defect (DOA): Report promptly with photos/video; we’ll review and advise next steps.

Costs & Restocking

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping unless we shipped the wrong item or a verified DOA/defect.
  • Exchanges may be subject to a restocking fee per our policy. Authorized returns (if approved instead of exchange) may incur a 30% restocking fee.

  • No modifications or alterations are permitted. Modified items are not eligible for exchange.
